Kira oversees the North American investment arm of Labora. She takes the lead on evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and working closely with the founders across the portfolio. Labora’s mission is to support and back talented entrepreneurs who create a positive impact on the world and the economy.
Kira’s ability to work from both an operational and creative perspective stems from her own entrepreneurial background. Her passion lies in working with growing companies to strengthen their teams and operational frameworks through community building and day-to-day problem solving. Kira is actively involved in advising Labora portfolio companies on strategy and fundraising. Her extensive knowledge spans a wide range of industries, from consumer products to ecommerce, retail and product development.
Prior to joining Labora, Kira founded a fast-fashion apparel retailer with stores across Russia and a vertically integrated textile manufacturing facility. She graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and earned her MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. Kira currently serves on the Boards of The Tot and The Citizenry which are both Labora’s portfolio companies.
